May 12,2008 - Fraijanes, Guatemala - Locals from the Fraijanes municipality in Guatemala take part in a popular violent protest against the risings costs of transportation. According to police, approximately five people were injured and 16 were arrested. The protests defied the precautionary state, which prohibits the use of force to guarantee the use of public services by protesting crowds and protesting individuals.
